The Rt. Hon. Lord Taylor of Warwick speaking on FOX News. Through the years, as far back as 2005, when Britain was facing the 7/7 London bombings, Baron Taylor was the only member of the UK Parliament interviewed by Fox News. Over a decade later you’ll still find Lord Taylor on Fox News, discussing public policy and current issues impacting the world, such as the death of Prince Philip on the 9th April 2021.

Prince Philip and the Queen were married 73 years, a huge message to the importance of marriage.

He was the longest serving Royal Consort in British history, an amazing achievement.

The Monarchy has been through some difficult times over the last few years and Prince Philip was very much the supporting rock to the Queen, helping with advice.

However, Prince Philip could also be quite blunt in his manner. In some occasions it was quite intentional.

For example:

I was a guest at Buckingham Palace on many occasions. On one in particular I was with other world leaders. We were in a greeting line to shake hands with the Queen and Prince Philip. He looked at me. I was dressed in my suit and tie. He said "young man what exotic part of the world are you from?" I replied "Birmingham, here in England".

Prince Philip wasn't being malicious, he meant well. But that gaffe travelled around the world many times.

Prince Philip would try to break the ice, but sometimes he'd actually fall through the ice! This is when he went too far.

The Queen has served over 14 Prime Ministers and she has stayed strong through it all. The Queen has reigned for 69 years as the longest serving British Monarch, even longer than Queen Victoria.

Royalty is above politics.
The UK mourns Prince Philip’s death. But the world just celebrated Jesus Christ's Resurrection at Easter. Christians believe in eternal life. We pray that Prince Philip's mortal death would not be the end, but that he would have eternal life.
