Receive Power
Act 1:8 NKJV
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.””
‭‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
I. Message of Strength (Power)
 These are some truly powerful words! But they are more than words!
 These are truth!
 Now stop for a minute and look at who God is using to carry this message!
 He could have called anyone…but He lovingly chooses you!
 You are stronger than you look! Know that the one that is living within you has given you the ability to stand in the midst of adversity!

II. I Need a Witness!! (II Corinthians 4:5-6)
 Jesus now tells the Disciples that once they have received this power they are going to do even more than that!
 They are commissioned! Read (Matthew 28:18-20)
 Now here Jesus is giving them where they are going to be sharing… everywhere!! But do you see where they are starting? HOME!!
 We have to be willing to share Christ with our own just as much as others!
 If we allow to let the people that we interact with see the Power of God in our lives, they is sometimes all a person needs to see.

III. A Heart like yours (Matthew 9:36-38)
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.””
 ‭‭Jesus gives us the opportunity to look through His eyes to see what is the desire of His and the Father’s heart! Now let’s take this one step further!‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
 His spirit is within us! Remember the last part of the Great Commission! May we have the same drive that He had for us for others!
