Get upright bass tone from your electric bass - NO EFFECTS NEEDED!

Here's a quick video on how to get a somewhat convincing upright acoustic bass tone from an electric. All you need is a Jazz style bass with single coil pickups. The "secret" it to pan to the front or neck pickup, take active treble or tone mostly or all of the way down and find the best spot to finger the notes over the fretboard. The sweet spot is usually a little toward the front of where the neck joins the body.
