Line 6 Firehawk Fx with Variax 500 guitar samples

I bought a line6 firehawk fx today. Previous pedal board was POD X3 live, however it has malfunction of spontaneous volume change. In addition, my variax 500 guitar has a malfunction in battery connection and analog cable connection. Therefore it can be connected by only digital cable to POD series or other line6 products. I tested it shortly at home, with default tone, with some of my repertoires. Please evaluate this combination. ^^
