Which keeps the building dry, the roof or the warranty? With #RolfTheRoofingGuy

Typically what we hear from new clients is that they are frustrated with past roofing projects because they had roofs that didn’t last as long as the warranty, concerned to find out the warranty only covered the cost of stopping a leak but didn’t cover repair to the building damage, and aggravated to find out years later that they were responsible for preventive maintenance and their warranty was voided due to a lack of knowledge on their part.

Typically we’ve found these conditions happen because a roof system is selected because it comes with a “20-Year Warranty”, rather than selecting the right roof system solution for a particular building, and the wrong type of warranty was selected.

In this video we review some of the typical types of warranties available, while they all say “20-Year”, they are very different. They largely protect others, not the building owner.

If the foregoing resonates with you and you’d like learn more about selecting the right roof system and warranty, let me know.
