A decision was made here. We found a large sounder on the far side of a wheat field. There were 2 stragglers on our end of the field but we decided to stalk up to the sounder to remove as many as possible from damaging the wheat. As we moved to them, they moved on out of the field, through a fence and into some bushes and trees. Then I noticed that the two stragglers seemed to be stalking US! We made the decision that a bird in the hand... you know. Mine dropped immediately but my partner's made it to the trees before expiring.
