Dehydrating Meat and Portable Soup

I explain in here how I cook and then dehydrate meat such as hamburger and bacon. I then pack them once all of the water is removed into jars and cover the contents with the rendered fat. Portable soup is a simple but time consuming product to make. It is demi glace that has been cooked down until it will gel in a refrigerator. It is taken out of the container sliced and allowed to dry in the cold air. It can be done in winters on a countertop on felt or on a dehydrator rack. It is very much like 'Better than Bouillon' but without any salt and it is shelf stable.
