I also address some criticsm by other commentary channels who have been covering this story and their thoughts on if people should still support James from fans and followers to companies like Morphe who partners with James Charles for his makeup brand "James Charles X Morphe".

James Charles has been a leader in the emergence of men wearing makeup ever since the beginning of his career doing a mainstream campaign for Covergirl to his appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show before becoming an internet sensation.

Although this may prove to be his biggest scandal yet, James has been involved with plenty of high profile drama from "Dramageddon" involving Tati Westbrook, Jeffree Star and other beauty influencers to recent backlash involving TikTok stars (TikTokers) turned YouTube stars (YouTubers) Dixie and Charlie D'amelio in a video he did with the D'amelio family.
