The Truth about eating Fugu Teaser (The Second Guy to Eat Fugu) While it’s true that the poison contained in Fugu AKA pufferfish or blowfish is one of the deadliest neurotoxins in the world the risk to diners is actually quite low nowadays. However it took hundreds of years and lots of deaths to figure that out. Why take all that risk especially after witnessing or heading about others that died.
