the other day
I was hanging with Carman
and he was talking about memorizing Scripture
like major chunks of the Bible

I told him:
“man, I can hardly remember my school locker number”
and he says:
“trust me y’all
if you memorize GOD’s word
it’s gonna help your soul, your body and your brain”
before I know it, he’s charged to me to be who can memorizin’ the sermon on the mount (?)
the loser buys the winner a box of donuts
now I’m interested!

but where in the Bible is the sermon on the mount
he says “Matthew 5, 6 and 7
you know, JESUS talks about the Golden Rule and stuff”
oh yeah, the Golden Rule
