Epic Brewing Co Big Bad Baptist Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 4.0/5

Baptized In Barrels is their motto and Epic gives us this 6 Barrel Imperial Stout with a laundry list of Barrel Aged Adjuncts. On the nose she comes out with a strong chocolate aroma with hints of coffee. The initial hits is rich and full, enveloping the entire mouth. Well balanced between the Chocolate and coffee, neither overpowering the other. I didn't pick the coconut or almond but the salt is there at the finish. Slow and silky thru the middle makes this an easily enjoyable after dinner out by the fire brew. While not one of my favs this is still a solid brew and tasting it was its own reward.
Running 11.5 for the ABV, no listed IBUs but I'd put them around 20 and the By My Eye SRM is an easy 200.
