Jumping for fright - impala gets spooked

This impala ewe lost her young one to a wild dog the previous day - she had been calling her babe the whole day in the area she last saw it. Here she carefully approaches a small waterhole and gets spooked- most probably by a snake in the grass.
It is astounding how high she jumps - backwards!!
A necessity on a safari or a game drive, is a pair of binoculars
