Biden Says Everybody Across the Globe Spends Billions on Infrastucture, So Will We

President Biden stopped for a moment to take some questions from members of the press on his way to the White House on Monday.

"Are you worried that a higher tax will drive corporations away from the country?" one reporter asked.

"Not at all," Biden said. "There's no evidence of that."

"The idea you've got companies in the Fortune 500 that haven't paid a single penny in tax for 3 years. Come on man," Biden said.

Biden also spoke about the infrastructure bill taking shape in Congress: "I'm going to push as hard as I can, to compete with the rest of the world."

"Everyone else in the rest of the world is investing billions and billions of dollars in infrastructure and we're going to do it here," he said.
