In a dazzling procession. Egypt moves 22 royal mummies to permanent headquarters of new museum

The procession was led by King Seqnen Ra Taa II, who ruled Upper Egypt around 1600 BC, the last king of the Seventeenth Dynasty and is believed to have died when his skull was shattered during the battles against the Hyksos.
The show also included the mummies of Ramses II, Seti I, and Ahmose-Nefertari. Ramesses IX, who ruled in the 12th century BC, was at the end of the procession
