20210405 Why Leave? - The Daily Summation

Want to get rid of that pesky rent or mortgage payment on the place where you live? No problem! Pack your stuff and move out onto the street!

Not a great idea in your view? I bet most folks would STRONGLY CONCUR.

Even people who live in slums or favelas would stay there if offered the "opportunity to vacate to the street."

I think you'll find the same concept applies to nations just as well as neighborhoods.

Most folks would stay if they had nowhere to go.

That said, when their region or even house was "on fire" due to the political or criminal climate, you can be sure they'll look for better places to be.

The United States has TRADITIONALLY BEEN one such place. If we're not careful, that will CEASE TO BE THE CASE.
