Microsoft Has Won Army Contract for Augmented Reality Headsets. Where do I start?

Microsoft has won a contract from the US Army for over 120,000 augmented reality headsets. They are based on HoloLens and will be connected to Azure cloud services. The whole system will be dependent on Microsoft in order to function. Personally, I find this a scary proposition.

In this video we take a look at the proposition of the Army success or failure hinging on a company that has brought us the Blue Screen of Death, Windows ME, Vista, and 8. Not to mention the Zune and Windows Phone as well.
