I’ve Just Seen Jesus!! HE IS RISEN!!!
(John 20:11-18)

'But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.” Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ” Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.'

I. Things Have Changed!!!
• GOOD MORNING!! HE IS RISEN!!! HE IS RISEN INDEED!!
• As we examine our text today, we see there are some very powerful and paramount things that are on display.
• The first thing that we are noticing is the fact that Mary is coming to the place where Jesus is buried.
• Read John 19:38-41. Mary comes to the tomb. She is coming to care for the body. She is coming to a place where the dead were. She is not expecting that Jesus is going to be here…alive.
• As Mary is here, she is beside herself. She is in shock! She is concerned.
• Then Jesus calls her name! You know that is the thing about Jesus. When Jesus calls your name it is special. When He calls your name, it is like nothing else. (expound)
• You see today in the midst of what you may be facing, God is letting you know that He has the POWER to change the course and direction of your life.
• It is by us placing our faith and trust in Jesus that we are able to overcome. When Mary Sees Jesus, and hears Jesus, she would never be the same!!
• May the POWER of TODAY reinforce in your life that with Jesus, your life will never be the same.
• Let’s pray!!
