Research: masks preventing spread of other COVID, other illnesses

Masks became a requirement with the pandemic, but they could be responsible for preventing the spread of other illnesses. Researchers at Vanderbilt University found fewer children went to the hospital for respiratory illnesses since the start of the pandemic.
