Birds caused severe injuries when people don't properly dispose of their garbage. Plastic, dental floss, string, thread - they're all used by birds when they're making their nests. The results can be catastrophic to the nestlings.
Every year larger numbers of wildlife are the victim of secondary rodenticide poisoning.
That's where an animal becomes poisoned after eating another animal that has ingested poison.
But there is something you can do: don't use rat poison! It kills raptors, our allies in controlling the rodent population.
Family pets too much freedoms and roadside casualties are also threat to wildlife. It's also your responsibility to help wildlife.
