I’ve Just Seen Jesus!!
(John 14:8-15)

'Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. '

I. I Can See Clearly Now!! (Heb. 4:14-16)
• Good Morning! I am so glad that you are here with us this morning!!!
• As we look at our text this morning, we are looking at the sermon series that we have been going through. We have been looking at “How Do I Show Real Love vs. Tainted Love”
• Now we are looking at the sample equation.
• Phillip is asking Jesus this question. It is one that I know many through the years have wanted to do.
• We know that Moses asks to see God’s face, and he is told that no man look upon His face (Exodus 33:20). But Moses did get to go to spend time in the presence of the LORD! Isaiah will have his experience with God in Chapter 6.
• In every one of these experiences, no one is able to see Him face to face!
• But Thanks be to God through Jesus!
• Listen to (Hebrews 4:14-16, John 17)

II. Did You Hear What I Said? I Will Repeat It For You (John 5:19, Acts 1:8)
• Jesus makes it a point to address the fact that He is doing everything that the Father is wanting Him to do!
• Phillip’s question is one that many people ask, but Jesus’ answer is one that many are not expecting.
• Jesus calls their attention to the fact that everything that they have seen Him do has pointed them to the truth. Read (John 5:19)
• Do you see it? Do you hear it? What God is doing is calling for us to see the truth of the matter! When we look at the miracles that He has performed, it testifies about God.
• Read (Acts 1:8)! Christ is calling for us to follow the same commandments that He did. To like the way that He did. To proclaim to the world about that the fact that Jesus is the way to salvation (John 3:16, John 14;6)
