SOOCOO C30R 4k "Action Cam" Test 1

Short initial clips using Soocoo C30. All recorded handheld. recorded at 1080p/60 except last 2 segments recorded in 4K/24p. Rendered at 1080p/30. Will probably not record in 4k most of the time, since at 24p movement can appear choppy.

My copy looks much better than after youtube re-encoded it, almost to the point of deleting the upload but will leave it for now.

Best viewed on a large monitor or smartTV

Seems like a good upgrade to my SJCAM SJ4000 finally, after buying a couple others which did not equal the SJCAM and were returned.

This one comes with a remote, and a remote app as well as a lot of mounts, etc. You can also change the viewing angle to minimize fisheye, has slow motion, time lapse, stabilization that really works and lots of other nice features for under $100. Biggest complaint is the battery compartment and battery life but that is typical of these cameras.

I have upgraded the firmware to the latest and it appears that the stabilization now works also on 4k and perhaps a little less "digital noise" when lighting isn't great, but none of these do very well in poor lighting.

Probably more to come, just got this yesterday. Seems versatile enough and good enough might use it for more than usual "action" scenarios.
