Faith to Survive Summary Judgment: Farid v. Smith Post Pandemic

Before the pandemic, you attend a three percent infectious faith church, as low as two percent among your own children, and, in the last decade, your membership has fallen by 12%, while the "nones" have replaced Roman Catholics as the largest "faith denomination."
In the pandemic, one fifth at the very beginning decided to opt out of televangelism virtual worship, resolving to return, maybe, after the pandemic, while Pew Research Center had already determined by December 2019 that of 318,000 Christian churches only about 60,000 possessed an online worship capability, and that the signature event that marked a decision to leave the faith was a break in the chain of addiction in regular worship attendance. The American Bible Society, in their annual report on the Bible, noted that, despite record sales at the beginning of the pandemic, Bible reading is at its lowest point in history, and that Bible reading is highly correlated with participation in church related activities.

Before pandemic, in 2015, Lifeway Research had determined that, among evangelical pastors, 54% felt overwhelmed, while 33% felt isolated, and noting that 71% of churches had no sabbatical plan, but, now going beyond a year, some may feel, like many teachers have expressed, they are getting a long awaited vacation.

But, at some point in the pandemic crisis, I would highly recommend faith leaders to read the original 40 page WHO Joint Mission Report that told the world that COVID-19 is not a communicable disease, being transmitted from person to person, and perhaps reading the 2010 NIOSH study that told the world that nonmedical grade PPE substitutes cannot prevent microbial penetration, because, apparently, we actually needed a study to establish that, and read the Farid v. Smith case before somebody walks into your church and demands a gay wedding, because if your faith cannot survive a summary judgment, you will have to do exactly what the lady says.
