The regular news has a place in our lives. However when there is a breakdown in what is real and what is false we need to hear the "real" report from where it matters most. From Heaven. God has provided 5 Offices to the New Testament Church. These positions each function differently but together strengthen, encourage and uplift the people! One of these offices is that of the Prophetic. In "simple" terms this office is to help people get the real news from heaven. What is God doing. Does He hear? Does He see?
