While The City Went Into A Shutdown Over The Last Year, The Homeless Took Over The Area Completely.

The Hambo Courts That Used To Be Used On A Daily Basis By Community Members - Have Now Been Taken Over By The Homeless And Used As Shelter For Their Tents And Different Personal Items That They've Collected.

The Explosion Of The Homeless Population In Los Angeles County Has Gotten So Bad, It's Being Called Catastrophic.

According To The Economic Round Table's Latest Report, As Of January Of This Year, About 15,000 People In La County Are Chronically Homeless. Also In La County 66,000 Homeless People Who Bounce In And Out Of Homelessness From Month To Month. The Economic Roundtable Predicts That The Number Of Homeless Peole Will Be At About 90,000 In 2023.

As Of December Of Last Year, The Entire State Of California Has A Homeless Population Of Nearly 130,000 People - That Number Does Not Include The More Than 22,000 Homeless 'families' In The State. Experts Say That The Numbers Are Actually Much Higher.

According To Experts Expensive Programs That Build Housing Units Have Had Little To No Impact On The Homeless Numbers.

The Economic Roundtable Says The Best Solution Is For The Government To Start A Job Creation Program, So That People Can Earn Money, And Work Towards Becoming A Productive Part Of Society.

Only New York And Hawaii Have A Higher Rate Of Homelessness Than California.
