On This Episode:

- Why is anyone in the media trying to figure out who the jurors are in the George Floyd trial?

- Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is back to her child-like ways on spending, border policy and basic definitions of words.

- Lara Trump interviewed her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, for her Fox News show. Facebook and Instagram would not allow the interview on their platforms.

The Big Story:

SpongeBob SquarePants is accused of othering races and the episode in question has been pulled off the air. A cartoon sponge with feet that lives under the sea is facing quarantine over the “clam flu” and people are saying this storyline is teaching racist otherizing to children.

Band-Aids are racist because the coloring doesn’t match every skin tone. Should Band-Aid make more colors of bandages? Sure. Makes perfect sense. But this isn’t about Band-Aid, this is about searching for malicious racism in all things.

The desire and willingness to find hate in everything, to teach people to find hate in everything, is destructive to a civil society.
