Caught on Camera_ Elderly Asian Female Assaulted by Anti-Asian Racist _ Midtown, Manhattan

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the following individual wanted in connection to a hate crime assault incident that occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct. The details are as follows:

On Monday, March 29, 2021, at approximately 1140 hours, in front of 360 West 43 Street, the 65-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual. The unidentified individual punched and kicked the victim about the body, causing her to fall to the ground, and made anti-Asian statements toward her. The individual then proceeded to kick the victim multiple times in the head before fleeing the location. The victim sustained a serious physical injury and was removed by EMS to NYU Langone Hospital in stable condition. The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
