Locust Army: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list… - PLAYLIST: Locust Army
C: I always thought the locust army sounded like a army of gargoyles with tails.
R: Yeah, I always wondered about them and thought there was more to it. Now we know. Also what's interesting is the 6th Trumpet is the Lord's army, stay tuned.
Q: You always say "we". Are you traveling with a companion or group?
R: Zech 3:7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
C: I am reading from the NIV Bible and it is very different from your bible. Nahum 3 seems to be describing the Assyrian empire in a negative way.
R: Well the NIV is a paraphrase translation meaning you can't research the original language. Even so, it's clearly Mystery Babylon "all because of the wanton lust of a prostitute, alluring, the mistress of sorceries, who enslaved nations by her prostitution and peoples by her witchcraft."
Get the notes as they go line upon line, precept upon precept.
I use KJV but only because I have an app which shows the original Greek and Hebrew.
A nice website is Blue Letter http://www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=Jhn&c=1&v=1&t=NKJV#top - WEBSITE: Blue Letter Bible
On the left click the blue "C" and it shows Greek and Hebrew Also a good app is ESword If you don't want the thee's and thou's get NKJV but avoid the paraphrase translations like Living Bible and NIV etc. The app I use is called Olivetree
Q: Were you in S Aftrica before? Now NE Africa? Are you with other people? You said we.
A: I'm still in South Africa, I'm traveling in the north eastern part of the country which is the opposite side from where I've been the last 5 months. I'm hoping to do more safari's in this part of the country. One needs a guide to travel in these areas, especially if major predators are involved but really hoping to see lions. Stay tuned
Now I'm in Mozambique on the beach! Its hot, Glory to His Name
Q: Who is the angel named Abaddon/Apollon? Well, we know that the names Abaddon and Apollyon mean to DESTROY (Proverbs 15:11, Deut 7:20). And, so, based on the context of Rev 9, I would say that the spiritual famine/pestilence (caused by locust/scorpions/hornets) is controlled or ruled over by the Lord who comes as a destroying angel (I Chron 21-12-15). This angel killed 70,000 men in David's day!
I Chron 21:12 Either three years' famine; or three months to be DESTROYED before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the PESTILENCE, in the land, and the ANGEL of the LORD DESTROYING throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
14 So the LORD sent PESTILENCE upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men. 15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was DESTROYING, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that DESTROYED, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
Deut 7:20 Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be DESTROYED.
Prov 15:11 Hell and DESTRUCTION are before the LORD: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?
A: Abaddon is strongs h0011. אֲבַדּוֹן ’ăḇaddôn; comes from h0006. אָבַד ’âḇad to perisẖ; a perishing; concrete, Hades: — destruction. place of destruction, destruction, ruin
Could be, however the 4 other times the bottomless pit is mentioned, nothing good comes out of or goes into it:
Rev 11:7 And when the 2 witnesses shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit
