Now That Is Exhausting!

1 Minute Encouragement: There are times when we just won’t be able to wrap our minds around what is happening. No, because that is exhausting. We just don’t understand what God is doing, and we have tried, but still can’t fathom it, but one thing we do know, it is way outside our comfort zone. When God is doing things that are way outside of your ability to understand, the best thing to do is stop trying to wrap your mind around it. Now that is exhausting! Over thinking things, trying to make sense out of them only complicates them more and totally exhausts our minds. The guard at the door of our mind must be a firm truth, so we don’t allow assumptions, speculations, theories into our mind, they may knock and knock, but we say no, only truth comes in here. In this cultural chaos we find ourselves in, the best way to navigate it is with God’s Truth. We should acknowledge God in our situation, that He is in control and doing things His Way and take our hands off, let go and let God. Trust God, knowing we already walk in the victory He has provided. He won already; Jesus went to the cross and defeated death, and battling this present evil is His job. Oh, there are times I dislike His methods, but I know there is great God purpose in them, that I can’t wrap my finite mind around. Sometimes God will not give us understanding. He wants us to believe in Him, Who He is, and trust that the endgame rests on the truth that our Infinite God is good, and God is a God of Justice and is completely able to straighten out our finite crooked ways.
