Waverly Novels Volumes 7 & 8 Sir Walter Scott 1878 Leather Illustrated Editions

2 Leather decorative bindings. Waverly Novels 7 & 8, published by Adam & Charles Black, Edinburgh in 1878. Novels by Sir Walter Scott, Bart. Antique books, in overall good condition, with a few issues. Edge wear to boards, and normal aging and soiling. Pages are tanned, highly illustrated. Some pages have age stains - most pages are intact, with a few exceptions - a few chips to page edges, a set of about 4 pages has a portion of the bottom missing equally on all 4 pages - it doesn't interfere with text. I tried to get photos of most of the issues. It appears that all pages are there - 1 book has a loose portion of the spine outer leather coming away from the book - but the binding itself, is intact.
