Oakland Mayor Gives $500/Month to Low-Income Families for 18 Months... Only if They are POC's

Oakland's Mayor, who is conveniently up for re-election in 2022, is instituting Universal Basic Income for 600 lucky families who are at or below the poverty line for 18 Months!!! How convenient. Here's the catch, it's only if you are Black, Indigenous or whatever other shade of BIPOC you can muster; Whites need not apply.

Don't worry though, it's been debunked, it's not racist because it's funded by a private company and they can do whatever they want. lol.

Also, this has been tried before in Ontario on a similar scale and it has failed tremendously.
