When I was a kid in grade school and was taught evolution, I knew it was garbage science because of what I saw in the mirror.

I looked at my eyes and I knew there is no way the formed in a puddle of mud. How could an ameba form an eye?

Was it swimming around in the puddle of goo bumping into stuff and thinking I can’t see where I’m going, I need to see, I need an eyeball?
