Baboon Scanning The Bush High In A Tree

This is a Chacma Baboon scanning the bush and calling from high in a dry tree. Baboons generally prefer savanna and other live in semi-arid habitats or in tropical forests. They can and do climb trees to sleep, eat and do many other activities there, but they spend much of their time on the ground.
