The Senate Rules Committee Is Set To Meet Wednesday For A Hearing On The House Passed H.R. 1 Bill That Aims To Completely Reform Election Procedures In The United States.

Ahead Of That Meeting The Executive Director Of The Honest Elections Project, Jason Snead, Sent A Memo To Members Of Congress Informing Them That The Plan To Eliminate Or Weaken Protections Against Quote Voter Fraud - Is Not Widely Accepted By The American People.

Snead Referenced A Nationwide Poll That Was Conducted Which Indicated That Only 29% Of People Know About The Expansive Election Reform Act - But Once They Were Informed Of It's Content - Only 28% Of People Supported It.

The Measure Aims To Eliminate Voter ID - Expand Absentee And Early Voting And Includes Automatic Registration For Voters.
According To The Poll 64% Of Voters Want To Strengthen Voting Safeguards To Prevent Fraud Rather Than Eliminate
Them To Make Voting “Easier.”

51% Of Black Voters And 66% Of Hispanic Voters Agree With Strengthening Safeguards, As Do
59% Of Urban Voters And 61% Of Independents.

Only 21% Of People Want To Make Voting “Easier” By Getting
Rid Of The Precautionary Measures That Prevent Fraud.

In Addition The Poll Shows That:

While Only 14% Oppose It.

62% Voters Who Supported Joe Biden In The 2020 Election Back ID Requirements
92% Of Republicans, 75% Of Independents And 63% Of
Democrats All Support Voter ID

The Poll Shows The Same Type Of Numbers For Absentee Voting With The Majority Of People Opposed To Expanding It And Also Ballot Harvesting With Nearly 62% Of People Thinking It Should Be Illegal.
