Walking around the Upper East Side of Manhattan, I came across a box of chocolate-covered cherries, boxed, at the curb. Call it "curb crawling" or "shopping at the third-hand store" or "dumpster diving" or whatever you want to call it. Essentially, it's getting food, beverages, and treats for free.
