The United States set new coronavirus records with more than 4,000 deaths and 269,420 new infections in a single day. Cases of the highly contagious U.K. variant of COVID-19 are now confirmed in at least 8 states. Plus, a new study published in The Lancet found that out of 1,733 Chinese patients who were hospitalized with COVID-19, 76% still had at least one symptom 6 months later.
