Whale Rock Hike

If you are looking for a family friendly hike to take your kids on in Canyonlands National Park, try the Whale Rock hike. It is a 0.8 mile out and back hike in the Islands in the Sky section of Canyonlands with only 131 feet of elevation gain. There are also great 360 degree views from the top of this slickrock that children should enjoy. Definitely check this hike out if you are near Moab, Utah!
