Effort is underway to make sure PPP loans reach small businesses in need

To help small businesses get back on their feet during the pandemic, the federal government has been issuing Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans to them. Now, there’s an effort to make sure women and small business owners from communities of color don’t get left behind.
