Q: Hey sir. This is out of topic but you the only one I trust. Sad to say😐. I was reading about the angel of the Lord... I didn’t want to call Jesus an angel but I read Hebrew 1:3 which declares he sat on the right hand of God after his victory on the cross then Verse 5 says “today” you became my son. Does this means he wasn’t always the Son? But I do know he was always the image of God. Could he be the angel of the Lord?
A: Heb 1 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

A: Love the question. What i say may prompt more questions than answers but who can speak with the tongue of man the marvellous mysteries of the Son. Ok if he's born a Son at one point he must have been something else previously, right? No, he was always there, always Son and Creator. However He became something greater by giving His life on the cross. He's still the Son but entered a greater level of Sonship if that makes sense. Thats what Heb 1 is talking about as well as Eph 1:17-23, Phil 2:5-11, Col 1:15-19 and many other places.
All this at His first coming and at His second coming, He takes on even greater authority and representation of the Father until all things are subject to Him.
Ps 110 The Lord said unto my Lord,
