cnn Coverage of the Pentagon on 9-11

The hole in the Pentagon is NOT big enough for a 757.
Somebody did not think this through. The plane parts "are small enough you can pick them up in your hand"
What type of explosion could make a 757 into 100% hand size pieces?!?
