How To Know You Love God, A Simple Test

How to know that you love God

1. Do you thank Him for everything you are, for creating you, for forgiving you, and your place in eternity? That is called praising God.
2. Do you thank him for the gifts He has given you in this life, who you are in Christ.

You are a Child of Light;

1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

You are a son/daughter of God;

1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

So what is the evidence of all this.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Joh 14:21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

New creature is your standing before God, not your behavior.

Everyone sins everyday, period.

The Child of God knows it immediately and confesses it and moves on striving for perfection even thought he/she will never obtain it while in the flesh.
