Exciting Times! Part 3: The Benefits of Persecution - March 21, 2021

In Rom. 8:28, Paul says: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This principle applies to every aspect of a Christian’s life, including persecution. One of the amazing things about the persecution of Christians is that it produces the opposite of what it is intended to produce. Those who persecute Christians think that they can silence us, or get us to conform to their evil values, or destroy us, But God has other plans. The persecution of people because of their faith is evil, but God is able to bring good out of it. So what are the benefits of persecution for individuals and for the Church?
