Today we are in California flying over Alcatraz Island the site of the Former Fort Alcatraz and Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary. The prison closed in 1963 but was the home to such infamous inmates as Al Capone, George "Machine Gun" Kelly, Robert Stroud “The Birdman of Alcatraz” and James "Whitey" Bulger. Let's fly over the Island and talk about its history from fort to prison to tourist attraction.
We are back in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and flying the Cessna 172.
