Dwarf Ginseng Grows in our bottomlands - 4-07-2020

Spring 2020 series of videos - Homestead living and life in the mountains of Western PA. Dwarf Ginseng (Panax trifolius) grows in our bottomlands. Every spring right after the spring flooding, the tops of the Dwarf Ginseng plants pop up and start there growth cycle for the year. Similar to American Ginseng, Dwarf Ginseng has ginsenosides in it's roots that refresh and strengthen us when we consume them.
