Prayer
We must know God and know that He is the Great I AM. The number one rule in praying correctly is to know to whom you are praying. God. Jesus. The Spirit. The Triune God, three in one. To talk to one is to talk to all. There is no offense with God, not from a heart of prayer. With this knowledge comes freedom in your conversation alone with Him.

Fasting
The Pharisees of the day were very vocal in their Fasting and very loud in their display of Fasting. I think this very reason is why Jesus refrains from giving rules of Fasting. Rather He says, “When you fast let it be seen by our Father who is in secret.” The more you pray about your Fasting life, the more you'll be intentional with your Fasting life, and the more you'll know what your Fasting life looks like.
