Humor of Mohammed
We find out from the Hadith that the suffering of the Kafirs made Mohammed laugh. However, no one had better laugh at Mohammed. Humor and jokes poke fun at our foibles and flaws. But Mohammed is the ideal man and has no flaws. According to Islamic doctrine, he is the perfect pattern to follow.
In 1400 years, there has never been a Mohammed joke. The Mohammed cartoons have caused rioting and murder. Something as simple as naming a teddy bear, Mohammed, caused riots and imprisonment.
To have a sense of humor about the world and yourself shows an inner strength and a balanced personality. It takes mature person to laugh at their mistakes and foibles. We learn about Islam and Mohammed through his sense of humor.

I'm not religious but i think i can empathize but i never hear about Muslims being frustrated with the fact that they cant move their belief system into the 21 century. i think a lot of Muslim men like that their women are a lower class them, that they can rule over their women under the dictate of a higher authority.

A Muslim dies and finds himself before the Pearly Gates. He is very excited, as all his life he has longed to meet the Prophet Muhammad. Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, he meets a man with a beard. 'Are you Muhammad?' he asks. 'No, my son. I am Peter. Muhammad is higher up. And he points to a ladder that rises into the clouds. Delighted that Muhammad should be higher than Peter. he climbs the ladder in great strides, climbs through the clouds coming to a room where he meets another bearded man. He asks again, 'Are you Muhammad? 'No, I am Moses. Muhammad is higher still. Exhausted, but with a heart full of joy. he continues to climb the ladder and, yet again, he discovers an even larger room where he meets another man with a beard. Full of hope, he asks again, 'Are you Muhammad? 'No, I am Jesus...You will find Muhammad higher up. Muhammad higher than Jesus! The poor man can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs, ever higher. Once again, he reaches a larger room where he meets a man with a beard and repeats his question: 'Are you Muhammad?' he gasps, as he is, by now, totally out of breath from all his climbing. 'No, my son...I am God. But you look exhausted. Would you like a coffee?' 'Yes, please, my Lord' God looks behind him, claps his hands and calls out: 'Hey, Muhammad, two coffees!'

Yep no humor for Muslims because Islam rules by fear and intimidation. As a Protestant this makes me have a good hard deep belly laugh because the Catholics did this and look where it got them hahahahahahaha

I have the greatest respect for Mr. Warner, but even the worthy Homer sometimes nods. According to Ibn Ishaq, the earliest biographer of Muhammad, Asma bint Marwan (aka "Marwan's daughter") wasn't murdered because she made a joke about Muhammad, but because Muhammad had had a tribal elder, Abu Afak, murdered, and she was calling for men in her tribe to avenge that murder. As for humor, when the murderer expressed concern to Muhammad about possible retaliation, Ishaq records that Muhammad answered "Two goats won’t butt their heads about her." Made in reference to the murder of a mother with 5 young children, it's a response, that some people might find humorous.

We must look at your sources, then. Dr Warner would rely on the Koran, Sira, and Hadith. Is Ibn Ishaq's telling in one of those books? If not, then it has no authority over Dr Warner's telling. Of course, it is horrific either way.
