What are stem cells? It's a term like immune system, or First amendment, etc. that everybody uses but few can define. Why is there a clinic in Central America that can cure people of diseases that are not allowed to be treated here in the states? In the past 15 years the Stem Cell Institute has evolved one of the most sophisticated medical technologies in history. Yet it is absent from mainstream awareness. Here's a firsthand account of a recent visit to the clinic, an introduction to the field.
