Big Bad Putin and his People: On Censorship

Putin’s politicians are threatening to ban Twitter in Russia if they don’t remove pornography, and information related to suicides. At least they are standing up for Russia. In the United States we’re focused on banning Dr. Suess. Ok, so I know Congress isn’t banning Dr. Suess directly, but they aren’t standing up against the silliness. This is just another example of how our politicians aren’t working for us. We have to stand together, know what’s going on, share resources with each other, and stand united. Even if we differ in opinions, let’s be respectful about it, and care about each other’s families! We are committing to making good on the mistakes we’ve made, trying to be good people, and caring about others, and doing things for the right reason. Like JFK said so long ago, “ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” If we practice this, we can create a better world.
