South African students have demanded the closing of 26 public universities after their violent conduct of the past several days, forcing businesses to close, burning tires, chanting "one settler, one bullet" and various other reprehensible conduct.
The "protests" arose after Wits University correctly threatened to not enroll deadbeat students who owe the school over R1 billion in back fees, dating back seven years. First question, who is still an undergraduate after seven years? Talk about a sense of entitlement....
