Facebook exec says Zuckerberg is too powerful & FB should be 'broken up' - Project Veritas
Rich is the head that bears the digital crown?
In an undercover interview, Facebook Global Planning Lead Benny Thomas told a reporter from Project Veritas that his company is as powerful as a country, and needs to be broken up. ‘No king in history’ was ever as powerful as Mark Zuckerberg, he noted.
‘The government needs to step in and break up Google and Facebook,’ he said, adding that doing so would be ‘a better thing for the world.’
It should be taken into account that the interview released by Project Veritas appears to lack context and is edited into a series of soundbites. This isn't the first time the conservative watchdog group has been accused of selective editing and bias in their material, with one of the more recent cases involving an alleged payout to a man to commit election fraud on camera.
