L.A. Judge Cuts Off Electricity To Restaurant For Defying Covid-19 Restrictions
As Of Monday Restaurants In Los Angeles Are Allowed To Have In Person Dining - Except For One Restaurant - Who Is Being Punished For Staying Open During The Shutdowns,
An LA County Judge Has Ordered That The City Of Burbank Can Cut Power To Tin Horn Flats, A Restaurant That Defied A Court Order Last Week To Close It's Doors Due To Covid-19.
The City Said That If The Restaurant Continues To Operate They Will Petition The Judge To Padlock The Restaurants Doors.
The Restaurant Took To Instagram With A Quote From Thomas Jefferson That Read "If A Law Is Unjust A Man Is Not Only Right To Disobey He Is Obligated To Do So."
At The Bottom Of The Post It Has The Website Address EndTheLie.com
Underneath The Quote Reads A Caption That States
"I Chose To Disobey Rules That Have Zero Science Behind Them And Rules That Directly Threaten My Livelihood Needlessly. These People Implementing And Following These Rules Do Not Represent My Values Nor My Beliefs. I Will Go Down With My Ship If Need Be."
The Restaurant As Asked The Public To Help Fund A Generator And Lights.
Other Restaurants Can Start In-door Dining At 25% Capacity.
